Prima di questo lieto fine, per un paio di minuti c’è stata pure una signora che gli ha urlato contro ma, ripeto, non ho capito la lore. 😏
Ma allora, ecco che concedo a tutti di vivere questo misticismo, allegando qui la registrazione audio del casino; dopo aver opportunamente cancellato le parti di solo rumore, cosa che lo ha fatto pure scendere da 3 minuti e 46 ad appena 1 minuto e 37 (per quanto ho limitato il taglio dei momenti morti silenziosi, che sono fondamentali all’atmosfera), ed aver amplificato un bel po’ tutto (perché, per quanto il microfono del telefono sia capace di catturare suoni lontani, lui stesso non ci crede abbastanza). 💣
Comunque sia, wow. Il tutto è molto magico, e mi sono sentita un po’ Zeb89 che registra gli atti di “vecchia posseduta sclera” in tale momento, perché è così assurdo… anche se, in questo caso, gli scleri finalmente da me archiviati sono solo audio; sia perché voglio evitare di doxxarmi ora che sono sul balcone, e sia perché prima dal bagno non si vedeva niente comunque. Hey guys! So I have a simple dilemma. The computer i use for video/movies is on a vpn. Sometimes I want to move those videos to my nas.
Now I am just using the mulvad program on the local pc (linux). I dont have it installed on my router (and im not sure if I will yet, since with slowdowns and some sites and applications not working on a VPN, I dont really need it network wide at this point)
But my problem is, my nas isn't accessible from the pc, unless I shut off the VPN, which I dont want to do when in the middle of a big download. Also, it would be nice sometimes to download right to my nas so I dont need to move files.
Is there a somewhat easy solution? Im decently savvy but networking still confuses me sometimes.

I think tailscale would fit your use case perfectly.
You can install tailscale on your computer and your NAS. This way, there is a tunnel between your computer and your NAS. In practice you will have a separate IP address for your NAS that you can use from your computer.
It also means that you will have secure access to your NAS from wherever in the world as long as you have internet access.
Then, Mullvad and tailscale are integrated together. It means that from tailscale you get the Mullvad add-on that allows you to use Mullvad as exit-point. Meaning that all your traffic that is not in your tailscale network will go through Mullvad (so in your case everything except your NAS)
It's been two years that I am using that and it's working great for me.

Every October, Microsoft host an Employee Giving campaign for charities chosen by staff, with the company matching any funds they raise. During last October’s Giving month, a group of Microsoft workers organised a vigil for Palestinians killed by the Israeli military during the current invasion of Gaza, stumping up donations for organisations such as the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund, while paying tribute to fellow tech workers who’ve lost their lives in the war."We were honouring the likes of Shaaban Ahmed al-Dalou, who was a computer science student that got martyred in Gaza," says Abdo Mohamed, one of the organisers and a former Microsoft machine learning engineer. "We were honouring the likes of Aisha Noor Ize-Iji, who was a Washington state resident who had been killed in the West Bank. We were honouring Mai Ubeid, another Palestinian martyr who was a tech worker, and someone who worked with [Google-funded programming bootcamp] Gaza Sky Geeks. People deserved to hear their stories - the Palestinians who had been victims of the genocide deserved a space to be honoured, not to be reduced to numbers." If you’re a white secular westerner like me, you may recoil instinctively from the religiously loaded word "martyr" here – Bassem Saad has written at length about the history of the term as Palestinians use it to describe those killed by Israeli forces.
The vigil was small - "around 50 people, sitting in chairs side by side, in an open space during lunch hour" - and in line with company guidance for such events, Mohamed claims. But at around 9pm that evening he and another organiser, Hossam Nasr, received an email telling them that they had been fired, with Microsoft later claiming that the event "disrupted" work, and should have taken place outside the campus. For Mohamed, the firing reflects Microsoft’s general disinclination to give employees a "safe space" in which to air their grievances about both Israel's treatment of Palestinians, and Microsoft's alleged complicity in supplying technology to the Israel Defense Forces. Rather, Mohamed says, "Microsoft had built this culture of intimidation, retaliation and oppression for anyone who felt the need to speak about what's happening in Gaza”.
If Microsoft hoped to quell such discussion or at least, drive the issue off-campus, their clampdown on criticism backfired. Earlier this month, current and former Microsoft workers with the No Azure For Apartheid movement occupied part of the company’s Redmond, Washington campus with tents and signs, demanding that their employers cease doing business with Israel's military. Just this week, protestors held another sit-in at the company president’s office. NAFA members have even pitched up outside Satya Nadella's lakefront house in canoes. And now, the backlash threatens to engulf Microsoft's entertainment business.

When Caron Morse’s 9-year-old daughter asked for a smartphone last year, her reaction, she told me, was unambiguous: “A hard ‘Hell no.’” Morse is a mental-health provider in the Portland, Maine, public-school system, and she was firmly against smartphones, having seen how social media and abundant screen time could shorten students’ attention spans and give them new anxieties. But she wanted her children to have some independence—to be able to call friends, arrange playdates, and reach out to their grandparents on their own. She also needed a break. “I was so sick,” she said, “of being the middle person in any correspondence.”So when her daughter turned 10, Morse did get her a phone: a landline.
For that gift to provide all the benefits she wanted, Morse had to lay some groundwork. It would be annoying if her daughters—she also has an 8-year-old—were to start calling their friends’ parents’ smartphones all the time, so she told her neighbors about her plan and suggested that they consider getting landlines too. Several bought in immediately, excited for the opportunity to placate their own smartphone-eager kids. And over the next couple of months, Morse kept nudging people. She appealed to their sense of nostalgia by sharing photos of her older daughter sitting on the floor and twirling the landline’s cord around her fingers. She wrote messages: “Guys, this is adorable and working and important.”
The peer pressure paid off. Now about 15 to 20 families in their South Portland neighborhood have installed a landline. They’ve created a retro bubble in which their children can easily call their friends without bugging a parent to borrow their phone—and in which the parents, for now, can live blissfully free of anxieties about the downsides of smartphones.
In the past few years, interest in old-school technology has been rising, driven partly by desperate adults seeking smartphone alternatives for their kids. Fairs peddle “dumb phones” to parents of tweens. On Reddit, one parent shared that they’d gone “full ’90s,” with a desktop computer installed in the living room, a Nintendo 64, and a landline. In March, after a Millennial mom posted on Instagram about getting a home phone for her kids, she received scores of comments from parents saying they’d done the same—or planned to soon.

Clearly, the kid had problems that were not caused by ChatGPT. And his suicidal thoughts were not started by ChatGPT.
But OpenAI acknowledged that the longer the engagement continues the more likely that ChatGPT will go off the rails.
Which is what happened here. At first, ChatGPT was giving the standard correct advice about suicide lines, etc.
Then it started getting darker, where it was telling the kid to not let his mother know how he was feeling.
Then it progressed to actual suicide coaching.
So I don't think the analogy to videogames is correct here.
Take away chatgpt and insert a videogame, movie o bookthat talk about those same topics.
There are books that talk much darker about suicide. If the kid were to read those the parents would sue the author of the book?
There is a whole subgenre of music that is about encouraging people to comit suicide and fall into depression, do we use the "who is going to think about the children" card with thar music and its authors? Because music can really get under you skin and a couple of hours listening to that would nake anyone have weird thoughts.
The shitty parents blame chatgpt because it told the kid how to make a noose. You can kind that info in "howto" with instructable images. Do we put the UK nanny dictatorship controls on "howto" ? Or it only counts of it's something that benefits of the butlerian yihad?
I think is completely irrational to blame a piece of software (or media), as much defective as it is, for a suicide.

President Donald Trump and Gov. Jeff Landry said Meta's massive northeastern Louisiana project in Richland Parish will make the state the hub for artificial intelligence with a data center the size of Manhattan.During a cabinet meeting this week, Trump said Meta, the parent company of Facebook, will expand its initial $10 billion investment to $50 billion.
Trump displayed a piece of paper he said was given to him by Meta Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg that showed the center superimposed over Manhattan, covering most of the New York island.
"When they said '$50 billion for a plant,' I said, 'What the hell kind of a plant is that?'" Trump said. "But when you look at this, you understand why it's $50 billion."
Landry responded to the president on X with the following post:
"It is vital for American ingenuity and national security that we lead in AI development. As President @realDonaldTrump displayed during (the) cabinet meeting, the size of the Meta AI Data Center being built in Richland Parish is nearly the size of Manhattan. Louisiana isn’t just a participant in the AI race, we are leading it!"
Richland Parish Chamber of Commerce founder Scott Franklin said the project is transformation for the region and state.
"The president’s statement is proof that the Richland Parish Data Center will lead the world in AI technology," Franklin told USA Today Network. "This project will completely transform the regional economy and Meta will pay close to a billion dollars in property taxes over the life of the project. These taxes stay right here in Richland Parish. New hospitals, funding for better education and endless opportunity is on the horizon.".

There are, I am learning, a few very annoying instances (where only jerks seem to comment, an anomaly around the lemmyverse, as I've seen it so far) and I can't quite work out the filters correctly to actually block the instance and its users completely.
When I go to settings > filters, I can see tabs for domains and instances but don't see how to add them.

The White House said on Thursday it has fired Surface Transportation Board member Robert Primus, as the U.S. rail regulator considers the proposed $85-billion merger of Union Pacific (UNP.N), and Norfolk Southern (NSC.N).

The stakes are high. New AI-native browsers and agent platforms are arriving, while regulators debate remedies that could reshape how people reach information online. The next phase of the browser wars is not about tab speed, it is about who intermediates knowledge, who benefits from attention, who controls the pathway to information, and who gets to monetize you.

Washington State cuts off ICE access to data system used for immigration enforcement
The state Department of Licensing revoked Immigration and Customs Enforcement access to a data search system Wednesday after discovering the federal agency used it to get information about a Kirkland man targeted for deportation.
The use of that data for immigration enforcement, confirmed by the state after a KING 5 investigation, violated an agreement between the licensing department and ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations, according to Nate Olson, a DOL spokesperson.
The revelation that state licensing data had been used for immigration enforcement took some lawmakers and immigrant advocates aback. The 2019 Keep Washington Working Act prohibits most state agencies from cooperating with immigration enforcement.

Alligator Alcatraz’s last days? DHS says it’s following judge’s shutdown order
A week after a federal judge ordered the state and federal governments to begin shutting down their operations at Alligator Alcatraz, workers are being sent packing and detainees are being moved to other facilities. Gov. Ron DeSantis, in a news conference in Orange County on Wednesday, said the Department of Homeland Security had “increased the pace of removals” from the detention facility.
DeSantis distanced the state from the decisions about who is detained at the site, saying “the state does not determine who goes into the facility.” “And so ultimately, it’s DHS’s decision, where they want to process and stage detainees, and it’s their decision about when they want to bring them out,” DeSantis said. “But I think they’ve been having rapid removals from Alligator Alcatraz, and I think that’s caused the census to go down,” he told reporters.

Disable max-height for feed images
Hi!
I have set 'Compact UI' in the settings to 'No - expand images' but in my home feed they are still cut off. Looking at the code I can see the following:

} and disabling max-height solves my issue (seeing the whole image in the feed without clicking it).
How do I specify this in the custom CSS section in the settings so that the max-height is always disabled?

This snippet worked for me when I just tested it:

} Basically, any css rules in your custom css overwrite the rules specified elsewhere.
Edit: I just wanted to add why the max-height was set initially. This is the codeberg issue that caused there to be a limit. Basically, without setting a max-height, really tall and skinny images can take up a huge amount of vertical space.

Breaking up FEP d8c2 (OAuth 2.0 profile for the ActivityPub API)
Hey, all. So, almost two years ago I wrote this FEP:

It defines a profile for using OAuth 2.0 with the ActivityPub API, with a few components:
- Using the bog-standard OAuth authorization code flow as described at oauth.com/, including PKCE
- Using the
endpoints,oauthAuthorizationEndpointandoauthTokenEndpointproperties of an actor for discovery of endpoints - Using a small set of scopes (defined in the FEP as 'read', 'write' and 'sameorigin', but with a much longer more detailed list here
- A registrationless client ID mechanism that depends on having an Application ActivityPub object live on the Web.
Of these 4 points, I think the first two are defined pretty well elsewhere. It is probably a good idea to just let those be defined elsewhere. I think the possibility of an OAuth TF for the SocialCG suggests that those options can be worked out there.
That leaves the two novel parts of the FEP: the registration-less client IDs, and the scopes. I think I'd like to slim down the current FEP to just the registration-less client IDs, and start another FEP for the scopes.

Hey evan@activitypub.space, I am all-in on more, simpler FEPs over monolithic impenetrable FEPs.
I take it that points 1 and 2 are due to concerns raised by thisismissem@hachyderm.io about how OAuth2 properties are already advertised in a standardized manner (I believe per OIDC or similar?) — no objections there.
On the topic of scopes, I know benpate@mastodon.social's 3b86 (Activity Intents) had some ideas on defining intents that have some parallels to scopes. I don't agree with hardcoding them all into the FEP itself, but I'm interested in exploring how we structure scopes so that they're more straightforward as not quite as fine-grained — a single scope for every ActivityStreams activity type might be a bit of overkill.
Earth’s Core is Leaking
In Earth’s primordial days, liquid iron fell through the ball of magma that was our planet, collecting elements–like ruthenium-100–that are attracted to iron. All of that material ended up in Earth’s outer core, a dense sea of liquid metal that geoscientists assumed was unable to cross into the lighter mantle. But recent observations suggest instead that core material is making its way to the surface.
Measurements from volcanic rocks in the Galapagos Islands, Hawai’i, and Canada’s Baffin Island all contain ruthenium isotopes associated with that primordial core material, indicating that that magma came from the core, not the mantle. Separately, seismic analyses suggest that this material could be crossing through continent-sized blobs of warm, large-grained crystals caught deep below Africa and the Pacific, at the boundary between the mantle and the outer core. 2021. Vuoto a perdere: test negativo
A Bugliano come a Londra non contavo più le occasioni in cui il rituale scandiva la mia esistenza: prelievo, attesa, busta chiusa, telefono muto. Mai una volta che qualcuno mi dicesse “C’è bisogno di una seconda conferma, signor Wilson”.
Anche il mio nome stava bene con la sfortuna; il signor Wilson era il pallone del film Castaway con Tom Hanks, su un tizio che sopravvive in un’isola deserta dopo un incidente aereo.
Allora decisi di non spostarmi più da casa, i test fai da te comprati su Internet potevano dirmi il mio stato senza mai farmi alzare il culo dalla sedia né andare negli ospedali gestiti dai Poteri Forti.
Passai un anno intero in cerca di avventure nelle app di incontri mordi e fuggi: mai una domanda né troppi convenevoli con i partner, e per quanto la promiscuità aumentasse la probabilità di convertirmi, il mio test non cambiò mai. Negativo.
I miei colleghi e allievi non capirono perché continuassi a lamentarmi; mentre loro andavano sempre in bianco, io avevo sempre qualcuno di nuovo davanti alla porta. Finché un giorno accadde l’impensabile.
Tigre Frida
Era il 24 novembre 2021 e quando arrivò dal nulla un nuovo messaggio su un’app di dating, io ero intento a leggere i social network su Freddie Mercury e la sua morte.
“So chi sei e cosa cerchi”, mi scrisse in chat lo pseudonimo Tigre Frida; dal nome pensavo si trattasse di una donna particolarmente aggressiva, così preparai casa con le solite candele, cioccolatini e fiori che piacciono tanto al pubblico femminile.
In poco tempo iniziammo a scriverci dei reciproci desideri sessuali, prendendoci una confidenza contraria a ogni logica razionale; il sangue e il mio cuore erano proiettati verso quella persona sconosciuta come se fosse l’ultima avventura della mia intera esistenza.
Finalmente, verso sera, il mio telefono si accese col messaggio che attendevo da tutto il giorno: “Apri la porta, sono qui sotto! Tigre Frida.”
Lavato e vestito elegante, corsi incontro alla mia ospite preparato a ogni evenienza: avrebbe voluto uscire a cena, o altro?
Con passo lento la persona salì per le scale, finché ci trovammo entrambi sul pianerottolo…
Tutto potevo aspettarmi, tranne chi si presentò di fronte a me! Non credetti ai miei stessi occhi: a volere un’avventura sessuale con me era l’agente di polizia Adriano La Scala, la cui presunta integrità morale gli aveva fatto superare brillantemente due master di criminologia, uno a Bugliano e l’altro a Washington al cospetto dei federali.
Senza dirmi una parola mi prese per mano guidandomi dentro il mio appartamento come fosse casa propria: “meglio così”, pensai; questo vuole andare subito al sodo. Ce la godiamo poi fuori di qui e non se ne parla più! Niente relazioni omosessuali tra criminologo e insegnante, evitiamo gli scandali!
Appena entrati nella mia stanza da letto, lui mise tutto subito in chiaro: “Sei certo delle conseguenze? Io non sono qui per accontentare un perditempo capriccioso. O sei serio, o nulla.” Mi mostrò il suo medaglione col simbolo del rischio biologico e lo abbracciai con orgoglio: c’erano voluti anni ma finalmente qualcuno mi avrebbe dato il virus che cercavo.
“Vedi Wilson”, lui ricambiò il mio abbraccio. “Tigre Frida non esiste perché è l’anagramma di Adri Gifter!”
Le sorprese non finiscono
Definirlo intelligente era un eufemismo; uno abituato agli enigmi sul proprio nome, sicuramente avrebbe saputo scovare anche i peggiori serial killer e io dovetti frenare le mie confidenze. Mai avrei potuto raccontargli che avevo cercato di dissanguare Freddie Mercury e, in fondo, mi tentava parecchio anche il suo sangue di agente con qualità fuori dal comune.
Restammo insieme l’intera notte e, la mattina, mi portò pure la colazione a letto! Per la prima volta da quando era morto il povero Andrew non mi sentivo considerato come un giocattolo.
“Come ti senti, Mark?” mi domandò, con in mano la tazzina ancora mezza piena. “Ti sei pentito per ieri sera?”
“No”, gli sorrisi calmo, bevendo l’ultimo sorso di caffè; “mai stato meglio! Perché, tu hai rimorsi?”
“Neanche mezzo”, Adri finì di bere e posò la tazza sul comodino accanto alla mia; “ma se cambi idea posso accompagnarti in ospedale per la profilassi, al massimo entro due giorni.”
“Stai scherzando? Dopo trent’anni che aspetto questo momento tu mi vuoi riempire di medicine? No, e poi no!”
“Allora mi raccomando”, rispose abbracciandomi; “chiamami se nelle prossime settimane avverti sintomi. Febbre, debolezza, sudorazioni notturne… Vorrà dire che ci siamo riusciti.”
Ci salutammo così, abbracciati davanti alla porta di casa, verso l’inizio di una vita che non sarebbe mai più stata normale.
Cambiamento in atto
Tre settimane dopo l’evento, i segnali arrivarono puntuali: sudavo come un mulo e avevo la febbre alta.
“I tuoi giorni da negativo sono finiti”, mi scrisse Adriano quando lo avvisai in chat; “per un test fai da te è prestissimo ma quello dell’antigene, il test combo, in teoria dovrebbe già dirci qualcosa. Vuoi che venga con te a farlo?”
Il giorno in cui mi accompagnò in ambulatorio era un venerdì 17, unico in cui Adri era libero e io non dovevo tenere lezioni; almeno avrei potuto ribattezzare una data sfortunata in quella più felice della mia vita!
Quanto era carino il mio gifter: mi venne a prendere sotto casa come un vero cavaliere, addirittura mi aprì la portiera dell’auto e in ambulatorio rimase sempre al mio fianco.
“Anche se non ti è arrivato dalla fonte originale è sempre l’autentico HIV di Freddie Mercury”, mi disse, probabilmente per darsi un tono; “ora è solo questione di confermarlo!” Feci finta di niente, ma i ricordi di Freddie e le occasioni mancate per dissanguarlo, mi stavano logorando la mente.
Appena uscimmo dalla sala prelievi mi accompagnò a casa e mi tolse il cerotto dal braccio; osservai le poche gocce di sangue rimaste sul cotone e gli proposi di raggiungermi nella stanza da letto per un altro incontro stavolta fra positivi e lui scoppiò a ridere: “Sei positivo fino a prova contraria! Meglio se ci vediamo nel pomeriggio quando ti arriva il risultato.”
Qualcosa non va!
Senza nemmeno salutarmi, prese la porta e se ne andò. Dov’era il gifter generoso che avevo conosciuto? Troppe domande mi riempirono la mente per l’intera mattina, poi la consapevolezza arrivò all’improvviso: Già, è un poliziotto, e quando lavora non c’è vita privata che tenga.
Il mio telefono rimase muto per ore. Sapevo che di fronte a un risultato positivo al test sul sangue, dall’ambulatorio sarei stato chiamato per gli esami di conferma e i consulti medici a cui avrei, deliberatamente, dato buca.
Mai e poi mai avrei accettato i loro consigli e medicine! Una, due, tre volte mi collegai al sito web del laboratorio analisi con le mie credenziali, finché alle 15 qualcosa apparve. “Test combinato, anticorpi e antigene P24. HIV 1 e HIV 2, campione negativo.” Venerdì 17 confermato essere il giorno della sfortuna!
La verità viene a galla
Maledizione, maledizione e ancora maledizione! Il mio smartphone era in carica sul tavolo e trattenni l’impulso di buttarlo dalla finestra perché vidi un nuovo messaggio di Adri: “Vieni, sono sotto casa tua. Parliamo del test, meglio confrontarci di persona!”
Scesi le scale di corsa, intenzionato ad ammazzarlo di cazzotti perché nessuno aveva i miei dati per accedere al portale sanitario e questo voleva dire una cosa sola: Adri sapeva fin da subito come mi sarebbe andata!
“Ehi! Vuoto a perdere! Allora?” Lo stronzo sorrise beffardo, come avesse vinto un terno al lotto.
Lo vidi in piedi di fronte a me, stranamente in divisa da poliziotto ma ero troppo devastato per chiedergli ulteriori spiegazioni.
“Allora confermi che sei un vuoto a perdere!”
Restai in silenzio con le orecchie tese, avvertii dei vaghi rumori di persone in movimento provenire dal retro del mio palazzo e Adriano che mandava messaggi però evitai di distogliere il mio sguardo dal suo, volevo mi dicesse in faccia il motivo per cui mi avesse tradito a quel modo.
“Sai com’è, tesoro”, mi prese in giro; “io ho dovere di tutelare il mio virus e tu, un bene così prezioso, non l’avrai mai! Capito? MAI! Io sono non rilevabile e neanche volendo potrei trasmettertelo!”
Nemmeno ebbi il tempo di sferrargli un pugno, perché le persone da dietro casa si palesarono: erano tre poliziotti anche loro in uniforme, che immediatamente mi bloccarono e Adri stesso mi infilò le manette ai polsi.
“Mark Wilson, sei in arresto per terrorismo!”
Non opposi resistenza, come avrei potuto farlo? Conoscevo benissimo il mio ruolo e non potevo in alcun modo tradirmi adesso. Negativo e in galera, forse è questo che davvero meritavo! Mi feci portar via senza dire altro, da solo con la mia rabbia e il sorriso trionfante di Adriano accanto a me.
Epilogo
Dal carcere ho avuto il tempo per riflettere e sono arrivato alla conclusione di dover compiere una buona azione, almeno una: dare all’opinione pubblica quello che vuole.
Lutto all’università: suicida il docente Mark Wilson
Bugliano (PI) – 20 dicembre 2021. Una notizia dell’ultima ora sconvolge l’università buglianese: il noto docente Mark Wilson si è tolto la vita in carcere mordendosi i polsi fino a morire dissanguato.
“Soffriva di depressione da tempo”, ha dichiarato alla redazione la sorella Virginia. Titolare del locale House In Virginia adiacente al campus universitario, la donna non ha voluto fornire ulteriori dettagli sulla vita privata del professore.
L’insegnante era stato arrestato lo scorso 17 dicembre dopo un lungo e accurato pedinamento da parte dell’agente profiler Adriano Adri La Scala, secondo il quale Wilson corrispondeva al presunto mitomane dissanguatore che darebbe la caccia alle persone sieropositive a Bugliano e nel mondo.
La confessione
Lo stesso Mark Wilson prima di morire ha lasciato in cella una lettera confessione che noi pubblichiamo integralmente, rivolta a tutti i cittadini di Bugliano.

Sono io lo stalker, il dissanguatore, l’omicida. Ho ucciso io nel 1988 la donna italiana trovata morta a San Pietroburgo, dopo aver intercettato le sue lettere a Freddie Mercury mentre quest’ultimo era il mio datore di lavoro.I due avevano avuto una relazione e io non potevo permettere che si riconciliassero mentre io invece ero completamente solo e Freddie mi rifiutava!
La morte per AIDS del mio ex fidanzato Andrew Jones, mi ha talmente sconvolto da avermi causato un’ossessione per il virus. Non ho mai potuto provare che sia stato Mercury a contagiare il mio amore ma da allora volevo riprendere il legame con entrambi grazie alla loro malattia. Sarebbero stati dentro di me fino alla mia morte ma, anche se ho bevuto il sangue della ragazza e mi sono ferito con lo stesso coltello usato per tagliarle la gola, i miei test HIV sono sempre risultati negativi e quand’ho saputo che Freddie Mercury era sotto la protezione del mio ex compagno di scuola Raymond Still, ho deciso di vendicarmi molestando chi porta dentro di sé lo stesso virus del mio idolo.
Ma ora che mi avete messo in prigione non ho più niente ed è giunto per me il momento di dire addio a un mondo in cui forse, non dovevo nemmeno esistere. Sono stanco dei miei continui fallimenti!
