Nun komme ich endlich dazu, von einem neuen Musik-Livestream zu berichten: Darkness Forever. Dieser läuft bei Mixcloud rund um die Uhr und wird von mehreren Personen gefüttert, auch von mir. Doch es ist nicht nur für das akustische Wohl gesorgt, auch visuell wird etwas geboten, zu den Songs gibt es auf der Webseite eine Slideshow mit wechselnden düsteren und stimmungsvollen Bildern, wie am Beitragsbild zu sehen ist, da passte es perfekt.
Worum es bei Darkness Forever geht, erklärt am Besten der Gründer und Administrator Wolfmond selbst:
Mit meinem Radio ermögliche ich meinem Freundeskreis & Familie Mixtapes zu machen und 24/7 in Rotation zu streamen. Es sind unterschiedliche Musikstile. Da ist für fast alle was dabei. Es folgt dabei immer der Leitlinie: DARKNESS FOREVER. Gothic, Post-Punk, Dark Indie, Gloomcore, Haunting, Post-Rock, Synthwave etc. Etliche Mixtapes sind schon in Planung.

Da mein Hauptfokus auf meiner eigenen wöchentlichen Sendung liegt, nutze ich die Gelegenheit, die Wolfmond mir bietet, um auch mal neue Wege zu gehen. Das zweite Mixtape besteht zum Beispiel nur aus Liedern aus den 60er und 70er Jahren, inspiriert durch ein YouTube-Video namens „Before Bauhaus: How Goth Became Goth“.
