Che cosa si intende per “scrittura di esperienza”
A differenza dell’autobiografia, che lavora sui ricordi, sulla loro messa in forma all’interno di una narrazione, di un senso compiuto, quella che ho chiamato più volte “scrittura di esperienza” tenta di spingersi in prossimità delle zone più nascoste alla coscienza, affidandosi a frammenti, schegge di pensiero, emozioni, che compaiono proprio quando si opera una dispersione del senso.
Parlare della relazione uomo-donna, del legame ambiguo tra amore e violenza – ma più in generale di tutte le passioni che hanno il corpo come parte in causa - vuol dire far luce su una memoria del corpo che resta generalmente confinata in una “naturalità” astorica: la nascita, l’infanzia, i ruoli sessuali, l’amore, l’invecchiamento, la malattia, la morte. E’ quello che potremmo definire l’ “impresentabile della vita” o le “viscere della storia”, di cui si vedono oggi i riflessi deformati, banalizzati, nell’industria dello spettacolo, nella pubblicità, nel populismo, nel sessismo e nel razzismo, ma su cui sembra difficile produrre cultura e cambiamenti.
Come è stato per la pratica dell’autocoscienza e pratica dell’inconscio –nel femminismo degli anni ’70- , di cui la “scrittura di esperienza” si può considerare il prolungamento o la ripresa, si tratta di imparare a leggere nei nostri scritti la scrittura dell’inconscio, collocare la parola scritta dentro al storia del corpo, creare un luogo in cui sia possibile mettere in scena il sogno e il suo svelamento.
“Dovreste ascoltarmi come s’io sognassi” –dice Sibilla Aleramo- con riferimento a una “rappresentazione del mondo aprioristicamente ammessa” dalle donne stesse e “poi compresa per virtù di analisi”.
In altre parole, si tratta di recuperare la sfera dei sentimenti, delle emozioni, dei sogni, dell’immaginario, oltre che come consapevolezza, come “valore”, parte integrante dei nostri giudizi, della nostra formazione intellettuale, delle nostre scelte; sottrarla alla svalutazione che la vede ancora oggi come “sentimentalismo” o “miseria” femminile. Inoltre, restituire alla storia, alla cultura, alla politica, passioni e accadimenti considerati ad esse estranei - l’ “altro”, l’impolitico, l’astorico, ecc.- può essere un modo per entrare in una relazione inedita con la società in cui viviamo, indurre senso di responsabilità e desiderio di cambiamento. La ricaduta è perciò doppia: sulla storia personale e sulle relazioni sociali.
