Fifteen-year-old Nada Arhouma was playing with her sisters inside their tent when an Israeli airstrike shattered the area sheltering displaced families in Gaza, turning her laughter into cries of pain.

Shrapnel tore through her right eye, nose, jaw, and teeth, leaving her face and her body covered in wounds.

She lost her right eye completely and now lives with massive facial and dental destruction, threatening her life every moment.

Doctors were forced to insert a breathing tube into her neck due to severe nasal fractures, while a dangerous leakage of spinal fluid from her eye socket continues to endanger her life.
