La Giunta Sala del Comune di Milano vuole sfrattare la storica sede dell’USI Sanità, sezione Ticinese le cui origini risalgono a metà degli anni ‘70. Protagonista del movimento di lotta per la salute di quegli anni, attualmente è sede dei lavoratori della sanità del San Paolo e San Carlo, dello Sportello di difesa della salute di Milano Sud-Ovest e dell’intervento solidaristico nelle Comunità Zapatiste del Chiapas.
Quello dell’immobile di Torricelli n. 19 fu un‘occupazione di appartamenti e spazi sociali dove la proprietà (privata) di allora regalò al Comune l’intero edificio, per non essere costretta a dover affrontare le spese di ristrutturazione e la questione degli occupanti.
Oggi il Comune vuole vendere tutto a qualche fondo assicurativo, lascia gli appartamenti vuoti da anni, non interviene nella messa a norma dell’edificio e non vuole sentire le ragioni e proposte degli occupanti.
