Secondo l’ultimo Rapporto annuale della Caritas in Italia ci sono 5.694.000 di persone in stato di povertà assoluta (9,7% della popolazione), di cui 2.217.000 famiglie e 1,2 giovani minori non accompagnati.
Il 21% dei lavoratori, quasi 1 su 4, è povero, pur lavorando, percependo un salario e un reddito troppo basso, e quindi inadeguato: tra il 2019 e il 2024 le retribuzioni in Italia sono diminuite del 4,4%, dal 2008 al 2024 il potere d’acquisto è diminuito complessivamente l’8,7% dato peggiore di tutti i Paesi del G20.
Il 30% degli utenti della Caritas dai 35 ai 54 anni è in condizioni di povertà relativa in qualità di working poor, il 47,9% è disoccupato. Il 33% dell’utenza è in stato di povertà abitativa. Il 22,7% in condizione di forte marginalità. Il 9,9% della popolazione – circa 6 milioni di persone – nel 2024 ha dovuto rinunciare a prestazioni sanitarie necessarie per liste d’attesa e costi insostenibili. 6 milioni è il numero di persone in povertà alimentare.
Di fronte ad una fotografia tanto impietosa del nostro paese in cui crescono in maniera evidente le disuguaglianze sociali cosa è possibile fare, quali alleanze agire e quali strategie adottare?

I know we made a lot of changes in very short order to keep all the people happy, so a summary of how things are now and will stay. On the whole, I think we managed to find a way to keep things very similar to how they were, but with the 'required' changes.
- There is a short delay of around ~5 minutes before we post messages (enough to not be a 'real-time' system)
- We have stripped tail num's and flight num's and instead are using our own, de-identified system so you can still look at things in threads from specific flights/aircraft. On our posts:
- A: Is a unique but de-identified aircraft identifier, the Aircraft Based Safe Uniform Reporter of Drama (ABSURD) ID.
- F: Is a unique but de-identified flight number identifier known as the Flight Anomaly Reporting & Compliance Investigation Control And Logging (FARCICAL) ID.
