“you don’t decide if you go to hospital, I do” - a nurse told Zuhrah.

A Palestine Action–affiliated detainee on hunger strike was left without timely medical care as her health rapidly deteriorated inside HMP Bronzefield, MEE reports.

Qesser Zuhrah, who has not eaten for more than 41 days in protest of her detention and the proscription of Palestine Action, reportedly suffered severe chest pain, dizziness, and breathing difficulties while prison staff repeatedly refused requests to call an ambulance.

Friends, family members, doctors, and MPs say Zuhrah was left lying on her cell floor for hours, with calls for help ignored and medical staff failing to return despite abnormal test results. An ambulance was only called after she lost consciousness the following morning. She was later returned to prison without a diagnosis or explanation.

The incident has heightened concerns over the treatment of pro-Palestine detainees in the UK, as eight of them remain on hunger strike. MPs and activists warn that continued neglect places the strikers’ lives at immediate risk and say authorities are using medical denial as a form of repression against Palestinian solidarity.

Europe continues to import weapons from the Israeli occupation, weapons that Israel promotes as tested in Gaza.

Despite public statements by European countries claiming they do not engage in military cooperation with Israel, it has become clear that these are merely slogans, as European states send their representatives to purchase Israeli weapons and contribute to financing an army of genocide.

Palestinian journalist Akram Dalloul documented the placement of yellow cubes after Israeli forces advanced deeper into Khan Younis, positioning them near the Bani Suhaila roundabout, which divides the Gaza Strip east and west.

The development indicates that Israel may now control more than 60% of the Gaza Strip, raising serious questions about compliance with the ceasefire agreement.
