2 things can be true.
1. It’s a good thing that hyper growth, monopolistic AI giants like Google, OpenAI etc are being challenged by Deepseek.
2. Deepseek’s bias is real. Like chatGPT it will happily list US committed atrocities. Unlike chatGPT it won’t acknowledge Tiananmen.

I’m very much in favour of Deepseek’s open source release. And I think we need this, or something like it, to offset the over funded AI extremists who are attempting to buy the US government.

So it comes as no surprise that he was eager to arrest him and follow the entry ban despite airport police letting him in.
