- After a complete halt of entry of all humanitarian supplies into Gaza, Israel has permitted "basic" imports starting May 18th 2025. The amount and the mode of distribution of the permitted imports are still utterly insufficient, with killings reported at militarized aid distribution points.
- It is expected that between mid-August and the end of September 2025, all 1.98 million people for which data were available will face crisis or worse levels of acute food insecurity (IPC 3 and above), including 1.14 million people in the emergency phase (IPC Phase 4), and 641,00 people facing catastrophic levels of acute food insecurity (IPC Phase 5).
