Deleting millions of files on a production Linux server isn’t as easy as rm -rf.
Under heavy load, it can spike I/O, slow requests, or even freeze the system.

- Batch deletes with find + xargs
- Use ionice to lower I/O priority
- Run deletes in safe chunks only when load is low
