The job market continues to slow, and it's pretty dramatic. Keeping our head above water (for now).
August jobs growth was only +22k. July revised up +6k to +79k. June was revised down by -27k to -13k. Average jobs growth over the three months = +29k. That's pretty worrying.
Unemployment rose a tick to 4.3%

It's the start of another hot one here today. A too warm n misty 69deg wakeup with the heat of #myday heading up into the low steamy 90s ( that's around 32C for you metric measuring mavens), predicted to hit around 93deg or there abouts today. Still quite humid, though, and the muggy staying on the sweaty sticky side a things.🥵
But, on the bright side, this lovely morning starts with sunshine to start to #myday. It's supposed to last all day. So, once the coffee is ready for my sipping, I'm kinda thinking maybe a trip outside to sit n soak up some of this morning sunshine is in order for my Friday starting today. ☕️🤞
