Don't EVER tell the ruling class this, but - I sometimes miss working in an office just bc it was easier to connect with people and I could get work done way faster bc of it.
I knew *everyone* and my personality, believe it or not, is 90% of my charm. Not being able to connect in person makes parts of my job way harder lol...

The new job I start in 2 weeks is WFH, and what you all are describing with human interactions is the one aspect that makes me a little…. Concerned… about being full time WFH.
I am totally looking forward to this job and it is a great oppprotunity, but it is my first time WFH as an expectation vs. a reaction to world events.

I wouldn't worry about it *too* much. Some companies even adjust really well for everyone being wfh, especially if everyone is. I had jobs where we did regular online hangouts or parties and those were actually pretty neat!
If you feel you're struggling to do your job or that you're falling behind or something, then deal with that as it comes.
Working from home is great. I don't want to go back to the office. I've just had experiences in the past where I did sort of enjoy being in the office. But the benefits of wfh far outweigh any of that.

Yeah. I’m not super worried. There is a level of travel involved with the role that will help, and I know the team I’m joining so I feel it will go smoothly.
And the benefits of WFH are great.

Yeah the lack of commute and not having to make myself presentable is such a relief. I do kinda wish that my team was close enough together that we could see one another more than like 1/year, but when it involve flying people all over the world it doesn't really work out.

Listen, all the walking and dancing and singing and screaming I did last night that I fell asleep by midnight, very stiff and sore. And woke up very stiff as well. 😅
I only took a couple pictures and video during soundcheck and the show because I wanted to focus on enjoying the show. (Fancams tend to be way better than anything I take).
