I recently had the opportunity to ride the Great Western Railway and it was brilliant. Took a sleeper coach, a local branch train, and another day train. Brilliant. So comfortable and easy.
Then I took Te Huia to get home. It’s great, but not as great as the trains we had 30 years ago.

Done. Let's get this to at least 10,000 signatures. Ideally we could get it to 50,000, which is about 1% of the population.
BTW Very disappointed to see the Greens *still* letting themselves be used by NationBuilder to DataFarm their supporters. But at least I didn't have to run the third-party scripts from a NB domain to sign the petition (thanks #NoScript)

I am also a bit leery of any site that isn’t just a straight petition on the Parliament website. Parliamentary Services already provide the websites right here in Aotearoa so it’s disappointing we need to jump around a plethora of sites to find all the petitions.
