The ability of people to blame #Linux for not running optimally on any Windows Laptop out there ever made never ceases to amaze me.
Just because Linux can technically run on almost any Designed-For-Windows potato (which in itself is a small miracle) doesn't mean the potato will be perfectly supported or maintained. You gotta blame our technological and economical system, not the FOSS projects that try to deal with piles of shit.
Learn to do constructive criticism, or tag your rant if you vent.
That Linux has even come as far as it has in terms of hardware support is a small miracle all by itself IMO. Back when I started using Linux (yeah, I know, I'm kind of dating myself here), one had to be really careful when buying hardware; and forget trying to make full use of anything released within the past year or two!
These days things at least *mostly* work straight out of the proverbial box. Part is Linux getting better, and part is generic hardware interfaces like e.g. USB HID.
