Thanks, there is indeed a libEGL in there that contains eglCreatePlatformWindowSurface. How I was supposed to discover this change, I have no idea.
But with that version eglGetPlatformDisplay always fails. Hooray.
Re changes, your best bet would probably be to ask on the macports-users mailing list. I got the clue, though, from reading the github commits to the mesa port. That was where angle was mentioned.
Re eglGetPlatformDisplay, you could ask on the -users mailing list or file a bug against the port. Remember that MacPorts is a volunteer organization. Some patience may be necessary.
