My sister uses Vinted to buy her kids' clothes, and she can do it on her phone, while breastfeeding. See items from all over the country, filtered by age and type.
To do the same at a charity shop, she'd have to go in person, bringing the babies with her, which is very challenging
Although she could buy from Oxfam Online, of course, which does have a lively and extensive clothing section
