Die Berliner Spree ist an einigen Stellen erheblich mit der Industriechemikalie PFAS belastet. Das hat ein Recherchekollektiv von NDR, WDR und "Sรผddeutscher Zeitung" herausgefunden. รber 8.000 Nanogramm PFAS wurden in der Spree nachgewiesen.

PFAS sind wasser- und fettabweisende Chemikalien und werden daher zum Beispiel fรผr Regenjacken oder Teflonpfannen genutzt. Doch PFAS sind auch besonders langlebig und reichern sich gefรคhrlich an. Auch in der Spree, wie jetzt festgestellt wurde.
