Not because of my lack of theory but probably the alcohol and definitely the propaganda. Getting a liberal to acknowledge the futility of this system is nearly impossible in 2025.
Liberals and conservatives alike really, really want you to believe voting works. And they will defend this position to absurdity.

Geladene Energie Gesamt: 6.208 kWh
Macht inkl. Standbyverluste von Wallbox, Verluste vom OBC, Verluste der HPC, Standklima usw. einen Verbrauch von 18,31 kWh auf 100 km.
Gekostet hat das ganze im Schnitt 8,25 € pro 100 km.
Habe auch mal den Vergleich gezogen mit meinem vorherigen Auto (Skoda Scala).
Dort haben 100 km in drei Jahren im Durchschnitt 10,96 € gekostet - das macht eine Ersparnis von 2,71 € auf 100 km. Und dabei ist das ein Vergleich zwischen Äpfeln (Kompaktklasse) und Birnen (SUV). Nicht besonders viel Ersparnis, aber wenn ich das ganze mit einem Tiguan o.ä. vergleichen würde, kämen da auch keine 6,28 l / 100 km raus.

Not commissions as such, but I _have_ been asked to write blog essays on folkloric topics. Which I am amenable to, since I see them as advertising for my folklore topic.
I also have once been asked to write an article including translations for a scholarly book, but unfortunately had to decline - publishers usually want pesky things like "exclusive publishing rights", while I want to release by translations under a #CreativeCommons license so that they can never go out of print.

Not only that: They do not provide schematics or parts to any aftermarket rebuilders or shops. JATCO only.
Not only that: Your transmission has no dipstick and they will not service the fluid in it.
You are driving an intentionally disposable car. It has a death clock in it as surely as a glued battery on your Macbook Air.
It is a 3,600lb environmental bomb.
I wish I was kidding.
The basic death loop of your new car:
Transmission computer (TCM) calculates gearing by receiving load calcs from the ECU.
ECU calcs load based on intake data (MAF, TPS, Wheel speed, etc.) These sensors wear out, get dirty, go out of calibration over time.
If the ECU calc is off, the transmission miscalculates the right load, throws a code. THE CODE IT THROWS WILL BE A TRANSMISSION CODE (e.g. bad secondary pressure).
Your car drives funny. So you take it to the dealer. They say "Transmission code. Transmission is bad. $8000."
You junk the car.
It actually had a bad MAF that costs $100 and takes 8 minutes to install.
Rinse and repeat.
I have worked on cars for 25 years.
I have never seen the level of repair hostility I am seeing now.
Even transmission shops have given up.
They finally figured out how to make a car that reaches its warranty intact and then is thrown away. It's like a science.

If someone sends an all-employee email, my inbox rule shunts it to a folder named "Parish Notices" where I might get round to reading it, or not.
If there's a threat that puts "the agency, and the nation's security" at risk, maybe a leader could find a better way to communicate the urgency and importance to their people.
