Does anyone have recommendations for Windows full-volume/system backup tools that are friendly to syncing to offsite backups?
I'm currently using Veeam agent. It works fine locally, but then I use restic to sync the backups over to offsite. The problem is that the way it manages backup lifetime is by taking the oldest full backup and "merging" in the next incremental (and renaming the file to the next date), to keep the total backup count constant. That means every day, Restic has to process a new "full backup" file.
Thanks to deduplication it doesn't actually copy the whole thing, it still only backs up changed chunks, but it still has to read and hash 1TB+ of data which takes hours...

Le ricerche sul web saranno sempre più potenziate con l'IA il che disincentiverà l'esistenza dei piccoli siti web, il calo del traffico inoltre costringerà le redazioni dei grandi siti web a tagliare i professionisti in spingendo sempre di più verso contenuti generati dall'IA. I contenuti saranno sempre più simili uno con l'altro.
Intravedo anche una possibilità per il web indipendente (quello dei blog e degli appassionati) di continuare a fare rete per continuare a leggere, scoprire ed ispirare contenuti veri che non siano generati dall'IA.
Anche se più in piccolo questo tipo di web ha tutte le carte in regola per sopravvivere. 😉

I discovered that @phanpy allows users to create columns that show a maximum of 5 #hashtags from a certain instance global feed.
This might be useful for users who read their followers toots only on lists and leave their home for (way too many) hashtags followed.
This way they (we) can read and interact with more people and have different feeds on very specific topics. ❤
