I imagine a workaround where you tag your own things and then have a pinned post linking to that (like I do with cosocial.ca/@maj/tagged/work)

About a year ago, I had some notions about creating some folklore-themed PeerTube videos, but the longer I pondered this, the more I hesitated. The effort would be massive, with the biggest being doing the captions manually because automated captions would not work for my thick German accent. And posting videos without captions would go against the Accessibility standards of the Fediverse.
Maybe I will make an attempt at a future date, but for now, I am shelving them. I should concentrate on finally getting my third book out, anyway.

I've posted on this before, but I'll say it again: your one-stop shop for guidance on the current political hellscape is Harry Frankfurt's great little book, On Bullshit.
The central argument is that while the liar has some regard for the truth, as they need to avoid it (or obscure it), the bullshitter has no regard for truth whatsoever, but merely says what is expedient in the moment (and indeed may change position/pronouncement as their needs/interests change).

Je me souviens avoir kayaké dedans, c'était comme être dans une soupe de méduses, et quand tu remontais la pagaie il y avait des méduses accrochées dessus. C'est pas à ce niveau-là, aujourd'hui, mais assez pour na pas trop vouloir nager dedans.
