Per scrivere i file .adf (che quando li scarichi vedi che la dimensione è quella del floppy) ho dovuto costruire un adattatore per il normale floppy pc (tutto documentato qua m1web.de/ADTWin/ ) ma permette solo di scriverli, non leggerli. L'adattatore poi è collegato alla porta parallela del pc e non alla scheda madre.

La Global Sumud Flotilla, invece, va ringraziata. Perché forzare il blocco agli aiuti umanitari è fondamentale, dopo anni in cui le iniziative contro il genocidio hanno sbattuto contro un muro fatto di propaganda, denaro, invii di armi e campagne stampa a senso unico. Quando la Global Sumud Flotilla arriverà sulle coste di Gaza, saremo tutte e tutti chiamati a mobilitarci, con i nostri corpi e con la pressione istituzionale. Le dichiarazioni, e soprattutto le azioni del nostro governo, continuano a essere scarse e inefficaci.
Le istituzioni italiane ed europee — conclude Druetti — scelgano di stare dalla parte giusta della Storia.”

The thing about the government is it's people. And people can have some really wild ideas and get convinced they're normal. Even pretty smart people sometimes.
Also it's really easy for people who mean well but start to think they're the last best hope for humanity to wind up doing stupid or awful things with people who don't mean well or just don't care and see an opportunity.
i don't think i'm far off the mark saying that's the point. fascists have a very strong evangelical kind of belief, in the sense of really believing that committing daily massacres in Palestine will cause Jesus to return and kill all of the non-believers, and during that time, believing they would be somehow spared, they would kill God and take his throne to gain his power.
yes, it's absolutely dangerous magical thinking. it is apocalyptic cult thought, including materialist magic, ie believing that saying certain words and practising certain occult rituals will bring unlimited power to a small group of people who basically are clapping really hard for racist fairies to exist.
They're truly the poster people for "power corrupts"
And we are seeing it already with ICE and their collaborators, as we've been seeing with cops for decades: they truly believe they're immune to any consequences, up to and including the dislike of their neighbors.
ETA: by which I mean, that magical thinking trickles down from the top to the assholes physically committing those atrocities.
