Well I have finally figured out what I‘be been doing wrong with this triangle shawl. I’ve not been increasing at the edges, only down the middle. So it’s going to be a weird derpy shape…I hate the yarn, not sure why…not fun to knit with.
In the meantime I just cast on a cowl about an hour ago, random sock yarn held double and it’s going very quickly.
These are both meant to be Christmas presents.

It all boils down ultimately to the fact that one side, the cruel, are prepared to deploy violence, often massive violence, in order to achieve their aims, whereas the merciful, by their very natures, have been historically highly reluctant to resort to violence.
Should your opponent be prepared to literally stave your head in with a rock, the strength and righteousness of your own argument becomes moot.

Download Eden a Switch emulator as long as you can

It's reported that the Google Play store entry of Eden emulator (a Switch emulator) is no longer available. We don't know the reason, but my educated guess is that Nintendo might have striked. I recommend to download current official clean builds and source code for backup, just in case you want to use it later.

I personally still use last official build of Yuzu, even today (playing Tears of the Kingdom). I never tried Eden, but it might be useful to archive it, so I do not need to download builds of others if I can't build it from source for any reason.

The talk about Salt and Ansible for a FreeBSD home lab gave me the idea to test again Salt (I was using it before Ansible) !
Next talk for me is Autonomy in a box in D1 !
Autonomy in a box was a very good conference too: it showed us the technical choices made by an NGO, their advantages and struggles. Since I’m also a member of an organization (as a sysadmin of course), it was really interesting to get this type of feedback!
And of course, Liberating the social web using *BSD by @stefano and @h3artbl33d is a must-watch if you have time!
