The more I hear financial service people telling me that this really isn't a bubble but is a realistic view of the value AI will bring to the (global) economy, the less likely such reassurance seems.

I care very much about getting it right in fine, but I've found the big picture doesn't have much direct impact on me, so I try to honestly label large sections of it as unknown rather than put too much trust in a map I know I'll never bother verifying.
New polling (reported ahead of publication by the FT) suggests right wing voters in the UK are more likely to be against immigration than their US counterparts, but less 'socially conservative'... but perhaps more surprising, the UK left are *also* more likely to have anti-immigration views than those on the US Left.
What is unclear is whether this is a new development driven by the last few years of ever shriller anti-immigration rhetoric or a historical difference in attitudes?

well of course the share price aspect of the 'money' will evaporate in sales of shares at loss (or no shares)... the money invested in infrastructure will be 'dead' capital for a while, leaving just the physical technologies.... but the money prepared to invest (but as yet not committed) will find the next bubble after a few years of quiet contemplation....
