Walked four dogs at the SPCA today: Custard, Ponki, Bizzy-Bee and Rex. There were two other people walking dogs so I couldn't stay in the dog run quite as long as I am used to, but the dogs still got good walks.
I was feeling a bit tired and sad, but luckily Rex was in a cuddly mood so he spent a large part of his walk either leaning against me, or in my lap accepting hugs and kisses. That's when he was not chasing flies all over the dog run. I think he's a bit of an older boy but still energetic. His previous owner must have loved him a lot, he's clearly used to affection.

"Israel to deport Jewish women taking part in olive harvest in West Bank
Israeli authorities have ordered the deportation of two Jewish women who joined the humanitarian organisation Rabbis for Human Rights (RHR) for a peacebuilding olive harvest alongside Palestinian farmers in the occupied West Bank village of Burin.
“The participation of Jews and internationals in the olive harvest has always been an act of solidarity and peace,” representatives of RHR and the peacebuilding platform Achvat Amim said in a joint statement.
“The decision to deport these volunteers reflects an alarming trend of silencing nonviolent human rights work and Jewish voices for justice in Israel-Palestine.”
The two individuals facing deportation previously lived in Jerusalem and have family ties to the country. It was unclear when they would be deported and to which country.
Israeli troops and settlers have carried out dozens of attacks on both Palestinians and their olive trees during this harvest season.

The Justice Department placed two D.C.-based federal prosecutors on leave after they filed court papers calling the Jan. 6 Capitol siege a "riot" perpetrated by a "mob," three sources familiar with the matter told CBS News on Wednesday.
The papers were submitted Tuesday in the case of Taylor Taranto, who was pardoned by Trump on Capitol riot charges earlier this year but was later convicted of livestreaming a bomb threat. He was arrested in 2023 while livestreaming himself driving around former President Barack Obama's D.C. neighborhood while armed, according to prosecutors.
The filing — which asked a judge to sentence Taranto to 27 months in prison at a hearing Thursday — mentioned Taranto's Jan. 6 charges and briefly described the events of that day, writing that "thousands of people comprising a mob of rioters attacked the U.S. Capitol."
That unsparing description of the Capitol riot was notable, as Mr. Trump has called Jan. 6 a "day of love" and referred to the rioters as "hostages."
