Trump's "Board of Peace" does not belong to the US government or any government or other public organisation. It just belongs personally to Trump.
Even if Trump was removed from office as US president, he would remain chair of the Board of Peace. There is also no way for him to be removed from the chairmanship, and he would control all of the Board of Peace's activities.
This is NOT an international treaty or anything like the UN. It's a private organisation that would be controlled by Trump personally, no matter what happens in the US political scene.

Erst mal davon auszugehen das er dumm oder dement ist, verharmlost ihn und sorgt dafür das man ihn unterschätzt. Ähnlich sehe ich es bei Merz.

Talking about NATO and mistaking Iceland for Greenland (he did repeatedly): "They're not there for us on Iceland, that I can tell you. Our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland. So Iceland has already cost us a lot of money."
BTW headlines are already saying "Trump rules out force in taking Greenland" but that is not true. Trump just made a series of implicit unmistakable threats of force. He did the mob boss thing again where he makes a ton of threats but then slides in a line about "I'm not doing that" when the whole speech is about him doing that. The media is such a complicit mess.
Trump equated the U.S. with the Nazis: "No nation is in any position to be able to secure Greenland other than the US. We're a great power. Much greater than people even understand. I think they found that out 2 weeks ago in Venezuela. We saw this in World War 2 when Denmark fell to Germany after just 6 hours of fighting."
And just a few Republican Congress members could have stopped all of this long ago. Just a handful. But the U.S. is not their priority.
