Current bit of precision-ground glass in a tube: 12.5"/320mm f/5 Dobsonian reflector on a cart for easy transport. It breaks down into smaller components so it's possible to take it on a road trip to darker skies.

Regrettably, no. I’m not that dexterous. I bought it a while back from someone who was a woodworker first, astronomer second. He put a good mirror into some seriously gorgeous wood work. This scope was also slightly cheaper than the comparable commercial options at the time (right around the start of the 2000s).

I left a voicemail with the IT dept. of a large organization because the new update had bricked my laptop, making it impossible to access my email. Nothing happened for a week. My boss contacted them to say WTF, they said they hadn't done anything because I hadn't answered their email asking for more details.
Duh.
So instead of fixing the laptop I had, they had to send me a new laptop.
With the guy up top at least the "FUCK OFF, LOSER" would be obvious at once.

openssl rand -hex 9
This and the -base64 variant are my go to when I don’t have a password manager handy or I will never actually use the password.

(Betelgeuse is close enough that a significant number of people will experience a Cherenkov flash inside their eyeballs from the neutrinos. But that will be largely unnoticed.)
