Das Schlimmste an ME/CFS wird als die zeitverzögerte PEM mit extrem schweren Symptomen wie Schmerzen, Schwäche, Herzrasen und Überempfindlichkeit gegen Geräusche oder Berührung beschrieben.
Der Text betont, dass ME/CFS nicht mit normaler Müdigkeit oder Erschöpfung zu tun hat, sondern eine doppelte Belastung für die Angehörigen bedeutet. Es wird erwähnt, dass in Deutschland mehr als eine halbe Million Menschen von ME/CFS betroffen sind, wobei die Mehrheit Frauen sind, aber auch Kinder.
Die Auswirkungen auf die Erkrankten werden detailliert beschrieben: Es gibt keine zugelassenen Medikamente, keine spezialisierten Anlaufstellen und keine Euro für Ernährungs- und Erholungshilfe. Gestern Abend konnte ich am recht hellen Mond eine Pollenkorona sehen. Diese farbigen Kränze um den Mond entstehen, wenn dessen Licht an Pollen in der Luft gebeugt wird.
Je nach Pollentyp ergeben sich unterschiedliche Formen und Größen. Die hier dürfte von Kiefernpollen kommen.
