I have a question for you. I received a notification of someone and the following message is displayed:
"Notifications from this account have been filtered because the account has been limited by a moderator."
My question is, why are accounts limited? is this a dangerous person? scammer? foreign asset? 😀
Oh.. but it means then, in the last case, that the person did nothing wrong?
I thought info moved freely from one server to the other. I mean, we get notifications an interact with each other, no matter what server people is in. But now I have the impression that's not the case.
Usually there are no restrictions on the flow. However, there are situations where restricting the connection to another server is appropriate.
For example, if a server's admin isn't doing anything about spam or abusive accounts on their server, even after many reports, then other servers may decide to restrict that server in some way.
