Its #raining here- started over night, still going near 1pm, +a bit yesterday afternoon. Very welcome, we weren't as dry as many places, we've had #rain already this #spring and snow not that long ago, but wetlands have been weirdly dry as our Winter #snow melt was modest and all soaked in quickly. The mesic + upland soils are in decent shape from rain, but wetlands have a hard time catching up if snowmelt is inadequate. photo details in alt

I love your rock garden. I don’t like the sound of dry wetlands so here’s hoping a lot more rain comes your way.
Weather wise the allotments missed out on the thunderstorm rains which fell just a few miles away. We got a brief heavy shower that was enough to wet the ground but not enough to put much in the water butts.
