What happened to the billions invested into Gaza? Billions and Billions? in Oct 2023 the people of Israel broke. They really meant No More. Never again would Jews accept being attacked as something they must endure on a daily basis. Why hasn’t Egypt, UAE, Qatar, Jordan and Saudi Arabia accepted refugees? Why aren’t they rattling the sabers at Israel? They are strangely quiet are they not?
Israel has much to answer for but peace was always on the table.

💡 Why we need lisp machines
｢ They were programmed in lisp the whole way down and could be run code interpreted for convenience or compiled to microcode for efficiency. You could open up system functions in the editor, modify and compile them while the machine was running. Everything worked in a single address space, programs could talk to each other in ways operating systems of today couldn’t dream of ｣
I'll have a crack at trying to learn some basic Lisp programming, via uLisp and a microcontroller. To my limited knowledge, this feels *like* having a Lisp machine, also pretty cool, so it's a hook to at least take a first step.
