Dieser USB Extender ist wohl unter einen Autoreifen gekommen. Manchmal fragt man sich, wie so etwas möglich ist. Wie dem auch sei, bis auf das Gehäuse hat nur der Quarzoszillator einen Schaden abbekommen. Dieser kann einfach getauscht werden.
This USB extender must have gotten under a car tire. Sometimes you wonder how something like this is possible. However, apart from the housing, only the crystal oscillator has been damaged. This can simply be replaced.

So scary how quickly #AI has crept up on us everywhere over the past year: in Google and WhatsApp; in student essays and marking; in job application process and within jobs itself; in the staggeringly immense extraction of creative work; etc.
Even more frightening how enthusiastic and accepting so many are: every day someone says “you have to go with it”.
Maybe I am a luddite. But maybe the luddites were right and at least they resisted. We need so much organisation against #AI, too. But how?
