Türk dringt er bij alle partijen op aan, inclusief derde landen met directe invloed, de aanvallen te staken. "We moeten de klok stilzetten wat betreft deze waanzin", zei hij.
"Ziekenhuizen worden te allen tijde beschermd - en zijn in tijden van oorlog des te onmisbaarder", zei hij. "Het doden van patiënten of mensen die hun gewonde of zieke dierbaren bezoeken, of van hulpverleners of andere burgers die gewoon een schuilplaats zoeken, is even tragisch als afschuwelijk. @AtotheJ Not sure if I'd call it MCU villain specifically, because I think the aim was to get a specific kind of message and allegory across, but yeah the villains, the guy in particular felt a bit caricaturish, which took away from the overall theme tbh.
At least we finally got an answer to Mrs. Flood and to the Susan buildup. Also, tbh I'm getting a bit tired of the Mavity gimmick at this point.

This is not exactly the way I interpreted the episode. The execution was a little rushed and definitely imperfect, and it was very limited in how far it went, but they did make it very clear how the people of Hell (unfortunate choice for a name of a planet of oppressed people, tbh) were treated horribly.
Now, would I MUCH rather that they focused on the actual injustice and show some resolution for the planet and its people by making the bad "corporation" that ruined their home the actual villain? Absolutely 100%.
I wouldn't say that the problem is that the ones who want change is the issue, the thing is that they rarely *are* shown to be wanting change, most of the time it's the same trope that the only thing they want is to kill everyone for revenge without any other long-term plan in mind. Not that extreme cruelty doesn't lead to fanaticism and people becoming extremely cruel in certain cases, but I don't think that most of the mainstream productions handle this with the nuance it requires.
I also wasn't a big fan of showing the Doctor becoming temporarily cruel. I get that the message was that the cycle of mindless cruelty continues until it's broken, but I'd have preferred for them to either not go there or to have the Doctor face more intense consequences for it.
All in all, I liked the message Juno Dawson who wrote this ep tried to get across, not loving the execution.
