hard to think of a good reason. Perhaps it's labelling?
Maybe head office in France thought Canada is fine with the same labels they use there, whereas the US would need uni-lingual English and decided to do that closer to the customer. Still seems wacky though.

Gente come me si è stufato completamente di stare in mezzo alla centralizzazione, se permettiamo che la gente continua a rimanere lì è questione di tempo che ne avranno bisogno di noi. Hanno bisogno di una comunità che non è sotto il controllo di entità che hanno legami con entità pubbliche e governative.
@alsivx Stare su livellosegreto.it mi ricorda i forum hostati da individui che non sono al 100% guidati da nessuno, ed questo è il bello.
Io avrei dunque una proposta, io avrei voluto che esistesse un'istanza Mastodon dove la comunità del GdR italiano, assieme ad illustratori ed altri interessati possano convivere in armonia come farebbero esattamente su Facebook MA senza Zuckerborg (è intenzionale, sta volta), il Muschio, Ripbozo (Bezos di Twitch).
@alsivx Il fatto che le comunità di GdR stiano per la maggior parte nelle piattaforma centralizzate, tra Facebook e Discord, è che pensano così facile che la stessa gente si ritrovano nella stessa piattaforma...
Oramai ho deciso che in futuro una potenziale comunità di GdR lo vorrei fare su Mastodon o qualche posto che non sia centralizzato perché non ne posso più di lamentarmi della enshittification del mondo. Dobbiamo cambiare davvero i canali di comunicazione.

Sarebbe fin'ora un altro ennesimo movimento di marketing se lo dice così. Ed infatti potrebbe avere ragione perché la pubblicità penso sia diventata troppo infama come concetto per via delle tattiche ingannevoli. Anzi, una delle armi preferite del content creation da quando YouTube è diventato territorio di questi video dai contenuti riciclati.
Non so se sono stato chiaro, ultimamente tendo a rispondere mettendo in mezzo argomenti che non centrano niente.
