Code is so much easier to write than read because when you're writing it, you know the goal you're trying to achieve and the constraints placed upon your solution. Often, the solution becomes "obvious" because of these two factors, so you don't need to think too hard about what to write.
When you're reading code, you often don't know the exact goal or constraints that were placed on the writer, so you're piecing together not only the "how" but the "why". #dev #programming

Ich musste dadurch gerade daran denken, dass unser Patenkind mir vor Jahren bei irgendeiner Feier die Nägel bunt lackieren wollte und natürlich auch durfte - mit allem, was das Arsenal der Mutter halt so hergab. Das anwesende, tendenziell eher konservativ geprägte Umfeld war teilweise recht irritiert, einer meinte sogar „dass Du das mit Dir machen lässt".
Wenn's einem nicht gefällt: Ok. Es geht ja aber nicht um ein Tattoo. Auf Wunsch ist die Farbe schnell wieder weg. Wer es als Mann nicht mal kurzzeitig verkraftet, Farbe auf den Nägeln zu haben … Ich war auf jeden Fall damals von den Kommentaren sehr befremdet.
