I think no matter what your politics, the phrase "big hugs to feds" has some component you can enjoy. The phrase just has a certain ring to it. Like, if "feds" are stormtroopers in your mind, then this has the same energy as the famous "Flower Power" photo from 1967. And if "feds" means all people working within the federal bureaucracy, then this phrase means extending a hug to a group under attack.
