i was obsessed with the show when it was new, but haven't had the stomach to watch it again since then. i'm kind of afraid of it not holding up on a rewatch considering how "war on terror" flavored it felt even at the time (same reason i dislike a lot of star trek enterprise).
now that we've had a couple of decades of increasing fascism at home i'd probably pick up on those themes a lot more. i could definitely anticipate seeing roslin in a much darker light now
