An ongoing fire in my county (not near me) was caused by a car fire that spread to nearby vegetation.
I knew about the cause from a CHP Incident report (shown in CHP's QuickMap app) way before it made it into any reporting. That seems odd.
It's not a big fire, but there are some evacuations underway. I hope all the evacuees will be OK.
