Russia will never stop in their actions and manipulations. In a ceasefire, they will try and create a situation where pro-Russian puppets will take over. Never ever believe them. The only way to stop them is to make them stop. Take the war to Russia, where it matters.

With assassinations like this, without any doubt, we can first point to Russian influence until proven otherwise...
