I experimented with posting my art on deviantart, then settled on another platform, but forgot to delete the deviantart account.
Years later, I came across my images on merch being sold in another country.
Decided not to bother stopping it, I guess it's on me for digital negligence and not watermarking my images. Sigh.
I hope people enjoy their shirts with my artwork on them.
At the end of every summer, my dad offers to drive us back to the city. Every summer I decline and get him to just drop us off at the train station. The kids hate sitting in a car and we get to do other things on the train together.
Today it was solving this puzzle together.
It was a long train ride so I taught them to set up equations rather than do it intuitively.
7 figured out how to simplify it right away but had a bit of trouble with isolating. 10 got it after I set it up but needed a bit of a prod.
We ended up with a sheet of coloured in squares, triangles, circles, and stars with the value of each. It was fun to walk them through this... If daddy was there it was have been done intuitively. I wanted to teach them to logic their way through it.
