1. While in opposition during Covid National pushed Labour to include large businesses in wage subsidies and in fact wanted the Labour government to increase its wage subsidies.
2. The majority of NZ economists who warned pre 2023 election that National’s tax cuts were unaffordable and would lead to an economic downturn have been proven correct.
