Matt Godbolt recently spoke at #ACCU2025 about -- amongst other things -- using C++ modules for his 'zx spectrum emulator'.
He put a good face on it, but to me it sounded like a complete shit show.

However, quite soon they were making it more practical to do something about many surgical conditions.
Devices tend to be worked out fairly well, for function and form, and using available materials, quite soon after the need becomes apparent.
Nice that someone is working with newer materials and fits.
