Axios ne ha parlato con tre funzionari israeliani, statunitensi e comunitari, che hanno confermato che la conversazione nel governo Netanyahu è seria. The problem isn't a lack of ability to do these things. The problem is the economic system which does not incentivize proper handling of waste and does incentivize producing enormous amounts of waste for no reason other than marketing. It would sicken you to know how much plastic is used in packaging just to make products look more appealing on shelves. It is literally most of the plastic produced.
The packaging glut and wanton expansion of fossil fuels is killing our planet. Organic chemistry and oil and tar is a fact of nature. Capitalism is a fact of systematized greed and a calloused disregard for life.
