L'économiste Julien Grenetle a démontré que le budget est artificiellement gonfle par la prise en compte des cotisations retraites payées par les fonctionnaires de 74% du salaire brut (contre 17% dans le privé)
La dépense par élève dans le premier degré, est en fait inférieure de 19 % aux autres pays de l'OCDE.
Au final, la France dépense bien peu pour ses élèves.
