in reply to Psy Chuan • • •1) For something portable, maybe Android DAP as you can sort out your music collection as it still part the Android ecosystem. Will say that it is a expensive route compare to getting 2000s DAP that be much cheaper but you had to manually sort your music library first with metadata.
2) Kodi isn't too bad for listening to music if you want don't mind configuring for first time. More for watching Movie/Show but you can use scrapper plugin which automatically get metadata of your music online. I used my Raspberry Pi and USB Hard Drive for my Kodi setup
3) Think you might heard of that software but MusicBrainz Picard is AMAZING for applying metadata of your music library. I used it for my DAP so it can display album art on my
