Perché questo servilismo verso Israele e gli Stati Uniti? Perché è così dilagante la falsa coscienza dei dirigenti nazionali e persino del Presidente della Repubblica, che ancora non ha trovato una parola, una sola parola per denunciare l'attacco vile e sproporzionato a una cittadina italiana come Francesca Albanese?
In parte lo sappiamo. Israele (in modo non diverso dagli Stati Uniti) ha costruito negli anni una potentissima lobby che si appoggia ad associazioni, fondazioni, banche e altri gruppi di pressione per promuovere la propria immagine e per fornire contatti, relazioni, strapuntini a quella lunga schiera di politici, giornalisti e figure professionali che concorrono alla costruzione del consenso nei singoli paesi, Italia inclusa.
A questo si aggiunge la compromissione dello stato italiano con i poteri di Israele, con il quale abbiamo siglato una partnership sulla gestione della nostra cyber security, cedendo di fatto parte della nostra sovranità. Un'altra ragione è economica. Israele vende e compra in Italia, e allo stesso tempo è in grado di condizionare le imprese statunitensi. Mettersi contro Israele significa dunque correre il rischio di ritorsioni.
C'è infine un'ulteriore ragione, forse la più importante, per capire la quale occorre un po' di memoria storica. Quella della prima Repubblica è infatti la storia di un paese a sovranità limitata dal 1945 che, tuttavia, nel corso degli anni, ha trovato numerosi stratagemmi per ritagliarsi uno spazio internazionale e una propria autonomia in ambito economico e in una certa misura anche in ambito geopolitico. Tuttavia occorre dire una cosa, le figure politiche che hanno ecceduto, che hanno cioè superato i limiti che potevano mettere a rischio gli equilibri internazionali sono tutti finiti male. Nessuno di loro è morto nel suo letto.
Da Mattei, a Moro sino a Craxi, chi ha sfidato gli Stati Uniti e Israele è finito male. Noi oggi ci meravigliamo della leggerezza con la quale i nostri capi di governo appoggiano le varie guerre americane o non fanno nulla per contrastare lo stato terrorista di Israele. Ma non è sempre stato così. Moro ad esempio nel 1973, durante la guerra del Kippur, ha negato agli Usa le basi per andare in sostegno a Israele. Ci si può illudere che il suo rapimento sia stato tutto interno alle BR, ma forse bisognerebbe interrogarsi sulle pressioni esterne in favore della linea della fermezza del governo italiano e sulla grande penetrazione del Mossad tra i brigatisti (chi ha telefonato a Moretti il giorno dell'arresto di Curcio e Franceschini? E come è stato possibile che la Papago - peschereccio acquistato dalle BR - attraversasse il Mediterraneo e giungesse in Palestina per rifornirsi di armi senza essere intercettata dagli israeliani?).
Naturalmente questi sono solo esempi estremi. Prima ancora della minaccia di morte va considerato il sistema di ricatti che i servizi segreti sono in grado di allestire attraverso il dossieraggio, di cui il Mossad è un campione indiscusso. Persino la manifestazione di lunedì è stata ampiamente studiata dai servizi, come buona pace del silente ministro degli interni italiano in altre faccende affaccendato.
Spesso ci soffermiamo sulla debolezza culturale dei partiti, sulla rinuncia della politica ad innescare i processi di mediazione e di rappresentanza. Altre volte ci imbattiamo nelle pratiche di corruzione o lobbistiche. C'è però un dato più crudo che va ricordano senza che diventi un alibi. Il potere italiano è debole anche perché le forze esterne in passato come oggi continuano a servirsi dei mezzi più sporchi e meschini per condizionare la politica italiana.
