Frustrated with #Python packaging, #OpenSource #TextToSpeech.
Just spent an hour trying to get ChatterboxTTS (github.com/resemble-ai/chatter…) running on #Debian 13 #Trixie. From venv/pip version mismatches, to trying to run it on #Docker and getting out-of-space issues, this and that - frustrated. I even thought to myself, I haven't used #Java for awhile - maybe they have #TTS, and decent packaging. Then I saw Gradle/Maven and XML,. and decided - that's enough for today.

for me it was never moral nor panic. If people want to pretend to have better vocals, better faces, better entire lives through digital fakery, best of luck to every one of them. The stage is too late for me to even give a fuck lol.
Autotune is such a low risk thing compared to everything else that's happened, to do with people faking everything to become desirable under capitalism. I care more about the weather.
Now it would be a good time for hardware makers and the open hardware community to come up with new great laptop designs.

I went into my garage (to pick up a sick kitten from the shelter) and a bunch of kittens skittered away.
So when I got home, I set a trap for the kittens so I can get them inside, socialize them, and get them adopted. 30 minutes later, the trap had one kitten AND the mom, whom my neighbor has been trying to trap since April.
Do I have a plan to deal with mom? No. I assumed I'd never trap her.
Anyhow, the baby is in the tub, and mom is in a dog crate in my bedroom.
Ugh!
Any person, male or female, famous or not, conservative or liberal, who is on the Epstein lists should be investigated and if found to have raped an underaged kid should be indicted and put in jail.
Unlike #MAGA, we liberals don't try to protect rapists and pedophiles.
