Well I have finally figured out what I‘be been doing wrong with this triangle shawl. I’ve not been increasing at the edges, only down the middle. So it’s going to be a weird derpy shape…I hate the yarn, not sure why…not fun to knit with.
In the meantime I just cast on a cowl about an hour ago, random sock yarn held double and it’s going very quickly.
These are both meant to be Christmas presents.

It all boils down ultimately to the fact that one side, the cruel, are prepared to deploy violence, often massive violence, in order to achieve their aims, whereas the merciful, by their very natures, have been historically highly reluctant to resort to violence.
Should your opponent be prepared to literally stave your head in with a rock, the strength and righteousness of your own argument becomes moot.

It's getting too cold for summer #breakfast, but here it is one last time: thinly sliced celery sticks, apple, walnuts, a but if sour cream and balsamico bianco.
Kinda inspired by a waldorf salad, but very much not trying to be one. Not a big fan of celery in general, but love this one.
