What do you guys think of when you think of capitalism?
Anyone here have experience storing things like pillows and doonas in these vacuum storage bags? Does it do them any harm if kept compressed for a long time?
Trying to think of better ways to store these bulky items.

I had two or three different generations of EeePC laptops and definitely loved them. Small, portable, and very light, they embodied what portable hardware should be. I was very sad when they basically died out as a thing, but for a little while there were good โ some even better โ options for that profile. (My favorite being an Asus Transformer that used an Intel Atom to have a tablet profile, but it latched into a keyboard. I used that sucker for so many years until eventually one day very recently it started freezing then finally stopped booting.)
Why people carry around behemoths that weigh as much as a full desktop, run way too hot, apply too much thermal/total power limiting, etc etc instead of something just designed to be light and portable I just don't know.
