Kennt ihr all diese #Betonplätze in Köln? In den letzten Jahren haben wir sehr viele Gründe kennengelernt, wieso da kein Grün, kein Baum ist. In diesem Sommer waren wir viel unterwegs - und haben sehr viele schöne Beispiele gesehen, wie eine Stadt schöner und lebenswerter sein kann. Und u.a. dafür brauchen wir in Köln auch endlich eine professionelle und keine ehrenamtlich betreute Patenschaftsbetreuung. Denn: Wenn man wirklich will, dann geht das auch!

@Aladár : Yes, the ArduTouch is based on an Arduino Uno. But it definitely can output complex waveforms (8 at once) in realtime. Check out the demo videos. This is a performing musical instrument. (Albeit, with a pretty shitty user interface, since there aren't enough I/O pins.)
I use PWM. Going as fast as possible, the PWM rate is 15.6KHz. It gives an equivalent of 11.5 bit resolution. The sound is surprisingly good, especially for such a low-powered microcontroller.
I wanted the hardware to be as simple as possible. All of the magic is in the ArduTouch's Arduino library, which is well documented, and fully open hardware. github.com/maltman23
I forgot to mention: the output is stereo. 2 channels output, with 4 voices per channel, in real-time. 😊
