@maggiejk the food pantry I support is housed near/associated with a church but you would hardly know it. In fact, I *didn't* know it for a long time, just recently met the pastor at the going away party for the Master Gardener at the pantry's community garden. A bunch of staff were there and fully half were queer, so... yeah. This church is apparently one of the good ones (they do exist, despite the overwhelming Horror of evangelical Christianity and fascism)
